Annual Seminar
The NACTT Annual Meeting is the premier educational seminar in the country on Chapter 13 issues. If you are anyway involved in Chapter 13 bankruptcy, the NACTT Annual Meeting is a must-attend event where national experts discuss complex issues and recent developments in the Chapter 13 areas. It is also an excellent opportunity to network and share ideas with other Chapter 13 practitioners from around the country. Regional Trustee Staff Training
In 2003, the NACTT started conducting training for employees of Chapter 13 trustees at several locations each year. The symposia are located in five cities throughout the country. Training topics include bankruptcy basics, ethics, office administration, personnel, and others. ( More...)
Advanced Practice Institute
The NACTT is the principal sponsor of an intensive consumer practice workshop, the Advanced Consumer Bankruptcy Practice Institute, held immediately prior to the NACTT's annual seminar. Open to all trustees and practitioners, debtor and creditor, the Institute provides an opportunity to participate in an intensive, hands-on, practical day- and-a-half workshop that incorporates the application of recent changes in the law to Chapter 13 practice with a mock trial format, and learning how to overcome evidentiary and proof obstacles in consumer practice. The Institute is limited to 50 participants and an experienced faculty of practitioners and judges to establish a six-to-one faculty ratio. Contact Courtney LC Waldrup at J.E. Because the Chapter 13 practice can vary from District to District, and to give practitioners an opportunity to network on a more local level, the NACTT sponsors smaller educational seminars that are geared to the specifics of the region.
